Richard C. Forsberg was appointed Vice President and Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer in April of 2015. In his current role, he is responsible for providing leadership, direction and oversight for Kaman’s global ethics and compliance program, including but not limited to identification of all regulatory compliance matters, contracts compliance, data privacy and security issues, export control and anti-corruption compliance, interpretation of relevant laws, statutes, policies and processes governing such issues and assuring that Kaman management has developed and implemented appropriate mitigation plans to address such issues within Kaman Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates both within and outside the United States. He promotes and oversees the Ethics and Compliance programs to ensure that all business units and their employees conduct business ethically and within the bounds of applicable laws and regulations.  He also oversees and coordinates all aspects of the corporation's contracts and government compliance needs, as well as providing general legal counsel and support across all of Kaman’s business units. He has over 33 years of legal and contracts (commercial, government, and international) experience at Kaman, including in the areas of policy development, program implementation and contract and regulatory compliance.

He also continues in his role as Vice President, Contracts Management for Kaman Aerospace Group, a position he has held since 2013. In this role, he advises and coordinates with all levels of management to assist in the planning, policy development, review and coordination of contract, subcontract and proposal support of Aerospace business unit objectives.

Since joining Kaman in 1986, Mr. Forsberg has held a number of increasingly responsible positions at Kaman Aerospace Corporation, Kaman Aerospace Group and Kaman Corporation. Prior to joining the company, he was employed at Hamilton Standard and earlier was an associate with a Westport, Connecticut law firm. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut and his Juris Doctor degree from New England School of Law in Boston.
