Over the last few years, Kaman Integrated Structures & Metallics has invested in new machining equipment, new manufacturing software, a new facility in Mexico, personnel training, operating/management systems reviews, Lean, and additional manufacturing space at the Jacksonville, Florida, location. In addition, Kaman Integrated Structures & Metallics is no longer just a “build-to-print” company; “design and build” services are now offered as well. Kaman Integrated Structures & Metallics is a nimble medium-size aerospace company with the backing of a large publically traded corporation.

Facilities: Two Locations and Growing

Kaman Integrated Structures & Metallics has two modern and well equipped and staffed manufacturing sites: the headquarters site located in Jacksonville, Florida, USA, and the newest site in the industrial city of Chihuahua in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico.

Jacksonville, Florida Facility:

  • Total of 350,000 square feet
  • Three buildings; two for assembly work, one for administration and detail part manufacturing
  • Over 450 employees (non-union)
  • Some of the on-site special processes: Heat Treat, Paint, Adhesive Application, Hot Joggling, Cold working of holes, special fastening
