Murli Named Vice President, Manufacturing at Kamatics Corp.

BLOOMFIELD, Conn.--Feb. 22-- Kamatics Corp. a subsidiary of Kaman Corp. (NASDAQ:KAMNA) , today announced the appointment of Joseph I. Murli to vice president, manufacturing, reporting to Kamatics President John Kornegay.

Murli, 45, succeeds David Johansen, who is retiring in March after 39 years with the company. Murli has extensive manufacturing experience, most recently as chief operating officer for Sterling Autobody, headquartered in Natick, Mass., and prior to that as director of U. S. manufacturing operations for Ensign Bickford, Simsbury, Conn. He also held various manufacturing management positions at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, including general manager of Chengdu Aerotech, a Pratt & Whitney joint venture company in China.

Murli, a native of Simsbury, Conn., received his bachelor's degree in accounting from Teikyo Post University, Waterbury, Conn., in 1991, and his master's degree in business administration from the University of Connecticut at Storrs in 1995. He lives with this family in Simsbury, Conn.
