Rising Star Mentoring Program

Kaman Corporation's Rising Star Mentoring Program

The Rising Star Mentoring Program provides self-nominated, eager employees with a formal, structured, six-month commitment to work with a Kaman leader. During the mentoring process, mentees develop and progress their career plans, assess and improve career readiness, and bolster their professional skills.

Participants are selected for the program based on their applications, references, and demonstration of potential and commitment to their careers and the business. Individuals who perceive themselves as potential future leaders of Kaman are encouraged to apply.


Kaman Leadership Development Program

Kaman Leadership Development Program

The Kaman Leadership Development Program recognizes and cultivates talented individuals from all divisions of the company who not only have made significant contributions to Kaman but also are seen as future leaders. In addition to having an undergraduate degree, selection criteria include excellent communication and interpersonal abilities as well as a commitment to self-development and ongoing learning.

Participants in the program meet regularly with senior management and take on projects that complement their individual career aspirations. They also create individual development plans with senior leadership in the Human Resources Department.

As they gain a broader understanding of the strategic direction of Kaman Corporation, participants also develop closer working relationships across the company. Working sessions build relationships and develop key areas, including finance, project management and leadership skills.
