Jim Larwood, formerly President of Kaman Composite Structures and Precision Products, was appointed President of Kaman Aerosystems, which is a newly formed operating group with the Kaman Aerospace Segment.

Prior to the Composite Structures and Precision Products Divisions, Mr. Larwood held the position of Division President of the Kaman Fuzing Division for Kaman Aerospace Corporation, Bloomfield, Connecticut. He joined Kaman in 1987, after starting his career with Grumman Aerospace. Mr. Larwood has progressed through various organizations holding the Team Leader role for the Air Vehicle IPT for the Prime SH-2G Program. He was also Director of Commercial Programs, which included major responsibilities for our Bond Center of Excellence, responsible for all aspects of operations, and also headed up our Helicopter Subcontract Business as Vice President and General Manager. He has been in the Aerospace Business for over 30 years working predominantly in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Program Management. He has a proven and strong background in Electronics, Composite and Metal Bonded Structures, overall operational leadership, people development and P&L ownership.

Mr. Larwood holds a BS and an MS from the State University of New York (Oswego and Stony Brook), Department of Electrical Engineering, and an MBA with a minor in MIS from CW Post University, New York.
