Noted for their high performance and low wear rates, our self-lubricating liner systems have demonstrated superior results in providing longer life and lower maintenance costs even when operating in areas of elevated temperature, high moisture, high fluid and debris contamination that are typical throughout the oil and gas industry. From down-hole drill head components, to mining and digging vehicles and equipment, to rotorcraft support vehicles, our KAron and Katherm liner systems provide highly customizable, long life, and maintenance free bearing solutions for an industry that is extremely sensitive to lost time.

Our onsite, full service Test and Development Lab can support most development or qualification tests that may be needed for your bearing application. If your test requirements fall outside of our internal capabilities, we can utilize our network of trusted, third party test facilities to provide the performance data that you require.

These bearings are traditionally used for high load applications and/or severe environmental conditions such as high or low temperatures. Different types of construction and various coatings, platings and lubricants are available to ensure the best performance under almost any conditions.

Rolling Element Bearings

Where lowest friction, highest accuracy and higher speeds are required, rolling element bearings are the first choice. A wide range of designs can be offered from small deep groove ball bearings up to large, high load rating spherical roller bearings. Special platings, steels and lubricants allow for a wide range of applications.

Specialty Rolling Element Bearings

Wear Strips

Kaman offers multiple types of Wear Strips with each providing unique characteristics to prevent metal to metal wear and fretting damage from sliding or rubbing surfaces. Our Wear Strips are designed to be bonded onto surfaces as a protective barrier, and are available in standard sizes or custom cut profiles.
