Philip A. Goodrich joined Kaman in 2009 and is responsible for Kaman’s mergers and acquisitions activity, divestitures and corporate strategy development.  Mr. Goodrich has extensive experience evaluating business strategies, valuing acquisition candidates and completing strategic investments.  Through his career, he has led the consummation of more than 100 transactions across a diverse set of industries including aerospace, industrial distribution, process control, electrical equipment, instrumentation, component manufacturing, semiconductor equipment and telecommunications.

Prior to joining Kaman, Mr. Goodrich was Senior Vice President, Corporate Development with Barnes Group, Inc., a global aerospace and industrial products manufacturer. Earlier in his career, he held similar positions with Ametek, Inc., a manufacturer of electronic instruments and electric motors and General Signal Corporation, a diverse collection of process control, electrical equipment businesses later acquired by SPX Corporation. 

Mr. Goodrich is a graduate of Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He received an MBA in finance from the Wharton Graduate School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1979. He lives with his wife, Kim, and their family in Avon, CT.
