USMC Unmanned K-MAX Flies First Mission in Afghanistan

AFGHANISTAN, December 28, 2011 - Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Squadron 1 flew an unmanned K-MAX to deliver 3,500 pounds of food and supplies to a forward operating base in Afghanistan. This was the first resupply mission for the platform developed by Team K-MAX.
