Russell H. Jones Named Senior Vice President, Chief Investment Officer and Treasurer at Kaman Corp.
BLOOMFIELD, Conn., April 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Kaman Corp. (Nasdaq: KAMNA) has announced the promotion of Russell H. Jones to senior vice president, chief investment officer and treasurer, reporting to Robert M. Garneau, executive vice president and chief financial officer.
Jones, 59, has responsibility for the corporation's treasury and investment functions, and for public and investor relations. He joined Kaman in 1973 as assistant vice president, was promoted to vice president in 1988, and in 1997 was named vice president and treasurer.
Jones received a bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut in 1966, and a master's degree in 1994 from the Hartford Seminary. He is a director and chairman of the contracts committee of the CIGNA Mutual Funds board; board chairman of the Cedar Hill Cemetery Association; senior fellow of The American Leadership Forum; past president of the Hartford Area Business Economists; former moderator of Hartford's Asylum Hill Congregational Church; and was founding chair of the investment committee of the Children's Fund of Connecticut. A U.S. Army Vietnam veteran, Jones and his wife, Barbara, have two sons and live in West Hartford.
Kaman Corp., headquartered here, conducts business in the aerospace, industrial distribution and music distribution markets.
