Steven J. Smidler
President
Steve Smidler assumed the role of President of Kaman Industrial Technologies Corporation in September 2010. Mr. Smidler succeeds T. Jack Cahill, and reports to Neal J. Keating, Chairman, president and CEO of the Kaman Corporation.
Mr. Smidler joined Kaman Industrial Technologies in December 2009 as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He joined the company from Lenze Americas Corporation, where he served as Executive Vice President responsible for marketing, sales, finance, business systems and product technology for the Americas. Smidler was also a member of the management committee of the Lenze Group, Germany, and held the position of President and Treasurer for Lenze Americas. Prior to joining Lenze, Smidler held executive positions at Eaton Corporation’s Electrical Division for four years and Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley for 23 years.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology from Purdue University and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

Roger S. Jorgensen
Senior Vice President, Finance & Administration
Roger S. Jorgensen has been the Vice President of Finance for Kaman Industrial Technologies Corp. since January 2004. Mr. Jorgensen is responsible for Kaman financial functions, including analysis, planning and overall financial plans. Mr. Jorgensen is also responsible for management and development of the company’s technology infrastructure.
Mr. Jorgensen has more than 27 years of corporate financial experience; he previously served as Vice President and Controller of Ingersoll-Rand's Torrington Division, recently acquired by the Timken Corporation. Prior to that he was Vice President of Finance for Polyclad Laminates and has held financial positions with a number of other well-known and respected manufacturers throughout New England in a variety of industries including Texas Instruments, Handy & Harman, A.L.E. Systems, Textron Inc. and McCord Winn.
Mr. Jorgensen is a graduate of Bryant College in Smithfield, RI, where he earned both his MBA and undergraduate degrees.

David H. Mayer
Vice President, Marketing
David Mayer joined Kaman Industrial Technologies in 1989, and has served in a variety of functional areas, including business development, strategic planning, product management and finance. He was named Vice President of Marketing in 1998 and oversees the company’s marketing, product management, supplier relations and fabrication and assembly services.
Prior to Kaman, Mr. Mayer served in the management development program for Emhart Corporation. He is also the President of the Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA).
He is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Connecticut, where he earned a BS in finance and an MBA in international business.

Michael Pastore
Vice President, Operations
Michael Pastore joined Kaman in May 2004 and is responsible for the company’s supply chain operations, environment, health and safety program, continuous process improvement practice and the electronic catalog maintenance group.
Prior to joining Kaman, Mr. Pastore spent 15 years in the technology industry, starting with Unisys Corporation in 1989. He held various product management positions at ENTEX Information Services, including Vice President of Product Management; served as Vice President of Services for Gartner, Inc., and has also served as Vice President of Product Management for PC Connection, Inc., responsible for purchasing, inventory management, product marketing and vendor relations.
Mr. Pastore is currently on the Board of Advisors for the Institute for Supply Management, Connecticut Chapter and is a member of the Bearing Service Association’s Information Technology and Supply Chain Committee. He earned an MBA from Drexel University and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Scranton.

Donald O. Roland
Vice President
Donald Roland has been in the industrial distribution business for more than 30 years. He joined Kaman in 1974 and held various sales positions at the branch and district level. In 1987, Mr. Roland was promoted to eastern regional manager; in 1991, he was appointed manager of the eastern division; and in 1996, he was named Vice President, Regional Manager.
Currently, Mr. Roland serves as Kaman’s Vice President of Customer Service, where he is responsible for overseeing the operation of 13 customer service networks across North America.
Mr. Roland is a graduate of the State University of New York, where he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Edward O. Johnson
Vice President Sales - West
Edward Johnson has been in the industrial distribution business for more than 40 years. He joined Kaman Industrial Technologies as an inside salesman in 1971 when Kaman first acquired Reliable Bearing & Supply Co. of Indio, CA. Johnson received multiple promotions over the next 20 years and, in 1988, was appointed General Manager for the Pacific region and was later named Division Manager for the company’s western division.
Mr. Johnson currently serves as Vice President Sales – West, responsible for company-wide field operations in California, the Pacific Northwest and Mexico. He oversees sales management functions including strategic account and market development, personnel management, asset management and financial performance for the territory.
Johnson is a graduate of Empire College of Commerce and an alumnus of the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University.

Michael J. Kelly
Vice President Sales - Central
Michael Kelly began his career with Kaman in 1973 and progressed through the organization, holding various positions related to branch, district, regional sales and field operations management. In 1989, he was named General Manager of the Midwest region and in 1993 was promoted to Regional Manager for the central region. Mr. Kelly spearheaded Kaman’s expansion into the Southeast, opening 23 branches to serve national account wins. In 1997, he was promoted to Vice President, Regional Manager of the central region.
Mr. Kelly currently serves as Vice President Sales – Central. In this position, he is responsible for field operations over the sales organization in the Midwest, Central and South Central United States.
Mr. Kelly is a graduate of Luzerne College, where he earned a BS in Management.

Thomas A. Weihsmann
Vice Presient Sales - East
Thomas Weihsmann began his career at Kaman in 1982. He left in 1985 to serve in sales management roles at the Morse division of Emerson Power Transmission and then with a distributor in the Northeast. He rejoined Kaman in 1994 as the Florida District Sales Manager. In 1997, he was promoted to District Manager, and was later appointed Regional Manager in 2003.
In his current position as Vice President Sales – East, Weihsmann has full management responsibility over Kaman’s New England Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions, where he oversees management functions, including customer relationships, personnel management, asset management and financial performance.
Weihsmann studied at Clarkson University, where he earned a BS from the School of Management with minors in marketing and technical communications.

Thomas Von Hillebrandt
INRUMEC General Manager
Thomas von Hillebrandt has spent his entire career with INRUMEC. He first began as a part-time sales representative in the summer of 1981, and in six years, filled a full-time position. He later moved on to operations, and eventually became President of the company in 1998.
As General Manager, von Hillebrandt oversees all accounting, human resource, operational and sales activities of the company. A key role of this position is to continuously seek growth opportunities while ensuring that all business is conducted within Kaman Industrial Technologies’ guidelines and expectations.
Von Hillebrandt was educated in Puerto Rico, as well as in the United States, where he earned a BS in marketing from Susquehanna University.

Kyle Ahlfinger
Area Vice President, Minarik Corporation
Kyle Ahlfinger is an accomplished senior executive with more than 30 years of professional experience. He joined Minarik in January of 2012 as the Area Vice President of Minarik Corporation, a subsidiary of Kaman Industrial Technologies. Prior to Minarik he served as Corporate VP and Chief Marketing Officer for Flowserve Corporation from 2007 - 2011 and as VP of Marketing for their Flow Control division from 2005 – 2007.
Mr. Ahlfinger has lived and worked in Europe and has extensive international experience. He also has extensive sales, marketing and business management experience in the Automation, Motion and Process Control industries during his 23+ years with Rockwell Automation and Honeywell Process Control. He is a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree.
