Work under the administrative direction of the Vice President, Finance and is responsible for providing a strategic direction and focus to the development, modification and implementation of automated business systems across the Aerosystems business units.  Ensure business system projects are financially sound, prioritized in a manner that provide the greatest value to the organization and are completed in a timely manner.  Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead and coordinate the development and improvement of Aerosystems business systems.

  • Become familiar with and understand the various business needs, structures, processes, policies and operations of the various business units in order to develop or improve business system processes.

  • Analyze, define and coordinate approval of business system requirements.

  • Facilitate user adoption, utilization and optimization of business systems across Aerosystems.


  • Identify, prioritize, disposition and plan the work portfolio.

  • Collect business system information and perform an initial screening.

  • Assess the value proposition via the description of the initiative and its justification.

  • Lead and/or assist in the business case justification for a medium to large size project.

  • Select and/or make project recommendations/dispositions; prioritize projects and initiatives.

  • Coordinate the portfolio roadmap and pipeline planning, deliverables and milestones.


  • Oversee the health, integration and delivery of projects within the portfolio.

  • Manage project issues, changes, human and financial resources, communications, status/ progress reporting, risks, quality, procurement and project closure.

  • Provide summary status such as current issues, portfolio development and future work.

  • Develop, maintain and present metric/trend analyses to measure and monitor progress, resource capacity/loads and risks.

  • Negotiate resource and capacity issues and resolve problems at the organizational level.


  • Manage and coordinate business system assets.

  • Capture, coordinate, share/reuse business systems information and solutions.

  • Coordinate continuous improvement and collaborate with KAO division business leaders, software development and IT to identify, recommend and integrate process improvements within and across the business units.


  • Support resolution of business system issues; provide timely support, management and resolution.



  • 7-10 years in in a project management role, preferably managing business systems implementations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business or Information Technology related discipline.PMP certification is desirable.



  • Financial acumen.

  • Project management skills in accordance with the PMBOK standards

  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail.

  • Must be able to work independently.

  • Proficient level of written/verbal/presentation communication skills

  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and develop business relationships with a diverse range of individuals, including those in IT, software development as well as those within the various business units;

  • Possess problem-solving skills and have the ability to drive issues to resolution

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and their application in a project management setting(Word/Excel/Project/PowerPoint)

    Must qualify as a U.S. Person as defined by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) in order to access export controlled technology.
