People Powering Kaman

Our Most important Investments Are Those We Make in Our People.

Highly skilled, high performing people are critical to our future. Kaman invests in people through a wide range of programs. The Kaman Leadership Development Program, now working with its fourth class, recognizes and cultivates talented individuals with demonstrated potential to become future leaders. Participants in the program meet regularly with senior management and take on projects that complement their individual career aspirations. To date, 49 high-potential men and women have participated in the program.

“Thanks to the Leadership Development Program, I was able to move from Distribution to Aerospace, and from marketing to program management, significantly enhancing my skills and providing an amazing opportunity to grow.” Arti Sheth
Deputy Program Manager, Air Vehicles and MRO, Bloomfield, Connecticut

Hiring, retaining, and promoting more women is a special focus at Kaman. In 2016, we inaugurated Women Advocating Leadership at Kaman (WALK). This important program seeks to adapt our culture to help promote women in leadership; provide women with equal access to development opportunities; and create a more work-life balanced, family-friendly company for everyone.

Tribby Warfield (pictured second from the left), Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Automation and Fluid Power platforms of our Distribution segment, is part of the team actively involved in advancing the goals of the WALK program.
